Pocket Player is a white–label solution allowing companies to promote their brand on consumers' mobile phones via a branded music player. Music is digitally protected for consumers to play on their mobile phones or transfer to their PCs.

• Tune Into a New Promotional Tool

  Companies can sell the branded music player or use it as a promotional tool to target consumers by offering them the mobile music player and a bundle of songs. Consumers request the branded music player and download it, thus opting in to ongoing marketing. Once downloaded, a branded icon appears and links the consumer to a menu featuring the downloaded songs.

• The Brand Plays On

  Pocket Player is fully customisable to enable brand graphics to appear on the icon link and on the screen when the songs are playing. Marketers can create their own bespoke service which is fully applicable to their brand and can later update the songs, messages and visual appearance of music player.

  Using the DRM–enabled Pocket Player, music can be passed virally between customers, whilst all the time remaining legal. The service can be set up to enjoy such features as 'try before you buy' and 'tune rental.' Amplefuture can integrate billing services with your existing services or can provide several billing options including Premium SMS, Premium telephony and payment card.

Pocket Player can also be paired with Amplefuture's Pocket Portal, which also offers a direct link to consumers and a branded presence on the user interface. With Pocket Player, consumers can listen to great music on their phone without having a dedicated MP3 player.

• As Easy as Downloading a Ringtone

  Upon seeing an advert, consumers send an SMS request and receive a link to access the branded music player download. Once downloaded, Pocket Player is accessed via a branded icon on the phone menu and controlled using a simple intuitive interface.

• My Brand, My Music

  The company offering the music player has full control of the branded full–screen graphics (or "skins") which appear when the songs are playing. Pocket Player can be personalised with multiple "skins" to suit different consumer preferences.

• Full Features

  Consumers can create their own playlists and can listen to the songs via their headset or phone speakers. The player automatically pauses when a call comes in and resumes after the call is finished. The player displays song information and has controls for volume, pausing, stopping and moving forward and backward to songs.

• Music That Moves

  MP3s can be sent direct to the phone from the Amplefuture platform or they can be downloaded to the consumers' PCs and transferred to the mobile phone. Tracks can be swapped between their PC and their phone by data card, cable connection, infrared or Bluetooth.

No special devices are needed to listen to the music. Pocket Player works with the Symbian mobile phone operating systems which power all of the Nokia series 60 phones. More handsets will be compatible shortly.
